Talia Shobrook

New York-based makeup artist Talia Shobrook was born and raised in England. She graduated from Glasgow’s School of Art with a degree in Fine Art, and pursued her love of makeup and beauty products. Before assisting Lisa Butler Talia educated and trained staff at Aveda as well as students at the London College of Fashion. After honing her skills and developing a signature inventive, fresh aesthetic, Talia relocated to New York in 2006, where her talent was quickly recognized by the industry.

Inspired by art, urban culture, and film, Talia has collaborated with publications such as American and British Vogue, Dazed & Confused, and i-D, and photographers Alexi Lubomirski, Karen Collins, and Ellen von Unwerth. Designers like Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman recognize Talia’s skills and professionalism and have continued to work with her regularly for their fashion week presentations. A-list celebrities as well as ingénue starlets like Emmy Rossum and Jessica Szohr equally appreciate her fashion-forward, classic execution for red carpet and press events.
