Bumble and bumble hairstylist Rolando Beauchamp is no stranger to New York Fashion Week, especially backstage at Alexandre Herchcovitch. For the last 5 shows the Brazilian designer has consulted Rolando for c-shaped chignons, textured ponytails, and this season: macramé braids. The models waited patiently for their hair to be woven and pinned into place; With Rolando's revamp on the classic braid, we say the time could not have been better spent. Like a pro Eva Mendes took Canada by storm at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premier of "Last Night" - a romance co-starring her, Keira Knightley and Sam Worthington.

Rolando decided to emphasize the color palette by spray painting the model's braided bun the color of their look. So no matter what direction - coming or going there was always something pretty to look at.

Rolando went for sleekness at Isabella Tonchi giving the models a straight and shiny do that wouldn't compete with the collection's complicated prints and bold sleeves.

KAREN WALKER SS'11

We can always rely on Karen Walker to bring out the girly girl in all of us. And for her SS'11 collection that is exactly what she did. With pleated knee-length skirts and high collared button ups it was a refreshing break from the cut-outs and short hemlines that are now frequenters on the runway. Rolando stirred the pot a bit by giving the girls a "brushed out beachy" hairstyle using a soon to be released Bumble&bumble product. Sometimes showing less is more!

Rolando Beauchamp spent August 2nd with the glorious Eva Mendes preparing her for "The Other Guys" premier. Eva showed up her 2 male costars in a girly frock and a high pony with a bedazzled clip. Rolando always knows what hair best complements the ensemble - another home run.

Maud Laceppe beautified Lindsay Sloan for "The Other Guys" Premier. Lindsay's red dress was calling for a red lip - so Maud accentuated the mouth and played up the eyes while still keeping the overall look classic and clean.

Let's face it the  Olsen's have  good taste. So naturally they'd apply that same "good taste" when choosing their hairdresser. Enter Rolando Beauchamp. A man who has concurred celebrities, editorials and the runway. Rolando was all over the FW 1O hair scene doing shows like Camilla Staerk, Karen Walker and Vivienne Westwood to name a few. Well it's undeniable these boys don't need much to heat up the pages of a magazine, but the powerful team found a way: Stylist Pippa Vosper, Photographer Sebastian Kim and Hairstylist Rolando Beauchamp. Pippa kept things classically cool with plain tees, fitted trousers and of course Levi's, Levi's and more Levi's. Photographer Sebastian Kim showed that there's no better way to go retro then with black and white. Finally our very own Rolando brought out the boy's old school charm with modernized "Grease" coifs that would have Mr. John Travolta envious. This threesome can work it out -  who knows they might single handily bring back the wife beater.
