Mermaids were the muse for the Spring 2012 collection at Marchesa and makeup artist Talia Shobrook was there to incorporate that theme into the show's looks. The makeup was neutral to show a natural face such that it looked as if the models could've just come out of the ocean with a fresh face. Simple makeup was the perfect compliment amidst the glitz and glam on the underwater fantasy inspired dresses with incricate threadwork, beading, feathers and chiffon coming down the runway.

Leonardo Manetti and Talia Shobrook teamed up for the Jenny Packham show. Silk, chiffon and lace came down the runway in a variety of colors across the rainbow ranging from pastels to vibrant shades. Elegant dresses and shorts in all lengths were seen but the look of the models was kept uniform throughout.

Leonardo put the model's hair down with a side part to the right. For the makeup Talia went for a classic look with a defined eye that had glossy texture and a bold red lip.

To get the makeup look from the show try these products from Laura Mercier:

Skin-Flawless Skin "Mega Moisturizer" and "Tone Perfecting Eye Gel," "Foundation Primer," oil-free or hydrating. "Silk creme" Foundation "Secret Concealer," "Secret Brightener" to highlight. "Translucent" setting powder.

A trio of community.nyc artists, including photograper Paul Maffi, hairstylist Marco Santini and makeup artist Talia Shobrook breathed true New York life into a slew of Canadian exports.  Kathy Lo, Crista Cober, and Alana Zimmer were just a few of the fabulous females captured in Fashion Magazine's editoral entitled, "NY times".  The editorial presented the stories of a variety of woman who had traveled from Canada to the Big Apple to make it in the business of fashion.

The co-founders of The Coveteur, Erin Kleinberg and Stephanie Mark, were joined by fellow industry executives Maayan Zilberman, Emese Szenasy, Joanna Hillman, and Ellie Hawke to be a part of this inspirational spread.  Stylists Leslie Fremar, Natasha Royt and designer Olympia Bermann rounded out the cast of move making professionals.

Each woman's personality and style was expertly highlighted by Maffi, Santini and Shobrook's talents.  Tammy Eckenswiller served as the premier stylist for this photoshoot.

The Brooklyn based culture magazine, Dossier Journal, is known for its independence and commitment to being anything but specific.  The Spring/Summer 2011 edition remained true to the magazine's usual philosophy and this time around, one of its editorials featured make up by community's very own Talia Shobrook.  The dynamic spread contained seasonal prints and colors including bright stripes and cool pastels.  Shobrook’s varied color techniques allowed each models' character to shine off the pages and put a fresh spin on the individual looks.

Skye Parrott provided the master photography for this editorial.
